It seems I've become a little obsessed with Jewellery lately - I mean, more than ever!
I had my conch pierced last year after wanting it pierced for so long (blog post going soon :p) and since I changed to a more expensive and lovely earring, I have learnt to appreciate the good stuff. Which is amazing for my ears, but bad for my bank balance!
At the same time, I of course still love the more affordable jewellery and can't always afford the top notch earrings. Over the last few years I've discovered new, affordable places where the quality is still brilliant.
If you've just had your ears - or anything pierced for that matter - it is better to use good quality jewellery as it will help the healing process. It will of course last a lifetime and stay sparkly for a very long time.
Here, I'm sharing with you my top 4 places to find jewellery at the moment. Before I came across these places, I struggled to know where to buy nice things from for your every day and cool, more edgy pieces.
I hope you discover something new and exciting from my recommendations!
Laura Bond
If you haven't heard of Laura Bond and you're looking to treat yourself or someone you love; stop what you're doing and go check it out! I warn you, you're going to want evvverryythingg!
Laura Bond have amazing quality, high end, solid gold pieces. They are pricey but to say you're getting solid gold, luxury earrings, it is actually very well priced in my opinion.
The products are dainty but blooming heck do they STAND. OUT.
I ordered a 9k white gold conch hoop for when I change my piercing to a hoop and it's beautiful! So dainty but oh my goodness it screams QUALITY. It's so shiny and perfect.
Sorry for the capitals but I'm very passionate about these jewellery sellers - I just want to order so much from them.
The only down side which is common for places of high quality jewellery is that if you wanted a pair for your lobes, it's going to cost you twice the amount as the earrings are sold singular. For sure, it will be worth it, but not all budgets will stretch that far. If yours can, go for it as you won't regret it.
If you're simply buying for a helix or conch piercing for example, you obviously only need to buy one.
Laura Bond actually have gifs on Instagram stories which is so cool and helpful as you can upload a photo of your ear to an Instagram story, go to 'gifs' and search 'Laura Bond'. You can find a few of their earrings and add them to your photo to see what might suit your ear! If you want to see if earrings will suit you - this is super fun and helpful.

Helix & Conch
Cartilage Cartel
If you want edgy, brilliant quality and affordable earrings, look no further.
You can see by their website this is a cool brand. Again, their products are perfect to give as gifts as the price ranges are brilliant and the quality is fab!
My latest purchase were some buggies and they are so dainty but stand out, I love them so much! You'd never realise they were only £20.
I think this will be a soon to be favourite for you if you haven't yet discovered them. Their range are so on trend and they have so many different styles to suit everyone. My Wishlist here is basically the full website of earrings!

Rogue Piercing
Last but definitely not least of the best places to buy top quality and affordable ear jewellery - I bring you an actual piercing shop - with an online shop!
I will go into details about how I discovered this place on my 'conch piercing story' post which will be coming soon.
Rogue piercing is a piercing shop in Nottingham City Centre where I live. They really willingly helped me when I needed them to fix my conch piercing despite not getting it pierced there. Since then, I've been back about 3 times. The 2nd time I went to see if they could change and upgrade my conch jewellery and the 3rd time was to get my 2nd lobes pierced by them. They are SO helpful and friendly. So experienced and professional. No matter what you need, they are there. They genuinely care.
Their studio is cool but not scary like your usual piercing studio. It's clean and feels lighter but you still feel that cool experience of getting pierced.
Again, the jewellery they offer caters to all budgets but they definitely specialise in high end, quality and luxury pieces. Let's say, I have quite an expensive set of ears because of them :P but we won't talk about that right now.
They have a large range of jewellery from different suppliers. One of those suppliers is BVLA. Rogue order BVLA jewellery in which is hand made and I believe sent from America ('LA'). It's stunning but comes with a heavier price tag. Again, if you can afford it - you won't regret it.
Maybe you're wanting to buy some jewellery for a special occasion and want to spend more money - this is a brilliant choice. Treat yourself like I did for my 30th birthday, or treat someone you love for a really special piece where you can instantly see the difference in quality.
If you want any advice or just want to go in and browse a potential new jewellery, they are totally there for you. You can book consultations and piercing slots so easily online. 100% recommend.
Rogue piercing also have a blog with so much great advice which you should deffo check out if you're in the market for it.

I've had interactions with them all via Instagram and of course Rogue piercing in real life and the founders are absolutely lovely people which makes me feel even better about buying from them.
All of these places are just so trendy and great quality. As I've said, they make for amazing gifts and cater to all budgets.
I thought I'd finish by saying I also love Pandora of course. You can buy lovely jewellery from there and they make for gorgeous presents too. I just wanted to highlight a few of the hidden gems - pun intended :P
Have you heard of these places before? Let me know in the comments! :D
