Don't you
just love it when you find a
mascara that just... works?!
When...
It
doesn't cost the earth
It
doesn't clump
The
'wand' is the perfect length
The brush catches
every lash
The
formula doesn't smell
The brush
is curved
& coats your lashes in one sweep
& when you have very
sensitive/dry eyes - it doesn't make them worse!*
Well
- lucky for us girls... my mascara 'must have' list comes in the form of the
new
SEVENTEEN doll'd UP
mascara!
Above images - My eye without mascara, but I have roughly used eyelash curlers for a second on each eye. I have applied a 17 liquid liner to my top lid but that's all.
All images of my eye, were taken on the same morning within minutes of each other so I could show you all a fair comparison.
The mascara brush is plastic and does feel like it catches every lash!
It's curved form follows the natural curve of your lashes/eye.
I usually have to apply a few coats of mascara in
order for me to achieve any lash definition - which is very annoying!
I've found that this mascara
doesn't clump or bind your lashes together, even after a few coats!
I don't know if you have seen this yet?
If you haven't, go - go
and buy it!
But if you have - I hope you didn't walk past it...
..because if I
have been reaching for this mascara instead of my long awaited Benefit They're
Real mascara - that is saying something.
The mascara stays on all day too &
I absolutely adore this packaging! (Especially because the bow reminds me of Minnie Mouse ;))
It just
completely appeals to me, it looks sleek, smart & feminine - and in my
opinion, doesn't look cheap.
I have to
admit that I have come to the conclusion that doll'd up is my new
favourite mascara (along with Max Factor Fusion).
& as
my family & friends will tell you, I had over 80 mascaras at once when I
counted last year! All of them were very
new & most weren't opened obviously. It's what I'd call - A beauty
obsession. So as you can imagine, for me to say that I have 2 favourite
mascaras is the statement of the century!
SEVENTEEN
is a Boots own brand, so therefore you can only buy it from Boots stores &
from Boots.com.
It's available
in Black & Brown & has a price of only £6.29!
It's
currently on a 'Save £1' offer which makes it £5.29!
Also - at
the minute, it comes with a free liquid eyeliner gift when you buy the mascara
which looks pretty cool.
Has
anyone else tried this yet? What do you think?
Could you
choose your ultimate mascara?? ...Now there's a challenge!
Hollie Xx
*I
just thought I would add this on...when I say the mascara doesn't make my
sensitive eyes worse - obviously this is a personal opinion & the mascara
is not claiming to be 'suitable for sensitive eyes' etc. :) I just find
that it doesn't irritate my eyes which are very sensitive to a lot of mascaras
out there.
