When it first came out, I thought to myself "I don't need another mascara, I'm quite happy with what I have at the moment''. But - obviously when I was in Boots buying some make up for my friend for her birthday and I didn't need a third item for her - with them being on a 3f2, I just had to grab one for myself!
& I can tell you I am so glad I did! I didn't realise this was the type of mascara with one white side and one black side. The white side lengthens and primes so your lashes will be lovely and long and separated, ready for the black to go on.
Now, I have used the other L'Oreal mascaras with white and black wands before, so I was wondering really why was this one so different. They used to be my favourite mascaras, but over time I forgot about them because I like to experiment with new ones.
The only thing I have noticed that is different is the shape of the wands. That might seem like a small change, but they really are great!
The white sides wand is so good! It captures every lash and coats every one of your eye lashes really well. Like a brush would brush your hair thoroughly, this wand brushes through your eyelashes which really really separates them, coating them evenly and a lot of formula goes on your lashes.
I particularly like using it on my bottom lashes as they are a nightmare for me. Nothing seems to lengthen them well, so this is perfect. Just lightly brush against them and your eyelashes are caught :)
The black wand is a nice shape too. It just fits nice and snug to your eye shape. It catches every lash and volumises them loads. You can build it up for a total maxed out look.
In the picture above, this is just a couple of coats applied for the day time so it doesn't look as volumised as it can do, but you can see just how separated my lashes are.
I think it's so great for people who wear glasses! Anyone who wears glasses should know how hard it is to make your eyes stand out and not get lost behind them! This mascara seems to be a really deep, dark black too which I love.
Has anyone tried it yet? If you have, what do you think?
If you haven't, I highly recommend trying it! & I hope you found this useful.
It's still on a 3 for 2 at Boots & it's £7.99 as an introductory offer so grab it now before it goes up to £10.99!
